All the places they'll go and Adventures they'll have! // Meet Amy!

Hello there gorgeous!

My name is Amy! I have recently become the proud mother of two little girls under two...Whilst in the middle of launching a small business known as “My Tiny Wardrobe”! I thought I'd use the last term of my pregnancy to prepare for the launch, however, my little Olivia came 8 weeks early!

This early celebration of welcoming my second daughter into the picture only highlighted my belief that you can still establish a successful, small business, while raising your children.

I won't sugar coat it and say it's been easy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.  My obstacles in launching this business did not stem from just having a premie baby, with her gorgeous big sister Chloe at my side (or tugging at my legs, trying to climb me for extra attention), but I have been fighting  a muscle disease over the last 13 years called Fibromyalgia. Instead of letting this painful disease define me, I have let the journey with it REFINE me.  I have grown into a strong woman with a passion for joy, adventure, laughter and fun.

My dream for My Tiny Wardrobe is to use the business to encourage other mums to work from home if they can, and provide them with a platform to sell their designs. We currently collaborate with women designers who are raising children in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. It is a collection of working mummy designers, photographers, and suppliers, all woven together to empower women through small business.

Life is too short to not chase your dreams!   Yes, I am speaking to you, the one who is reading this blog.  In creating this brand, I stepped out of the corporate world to design a future for myself and my family, and other mums who would join this collection of creatives, all working from home! So you can still be with your children if that is your choice.

We design clothes for “All the places they'll go and adventures they'll have”.

I want babies to be snuggled up safe in my baby blankets and hold onto them as they grow up, knowing their mum and dad held them and tucked them in.

I want to see little ones running up and down Bronte Beach or at the top end, in swimming costumes created with indigenous prints by indigenous women.

I want to see boys (and girls) skating, wrestling, and laughing, in comfy, casual, yet edgy and unique clothes.

I want little girls to feel like Princesses, but feel free to run in the mud and play in the rain at the same time. I'm not the type of mum who walks around with a little one with a mess free, pearly white outfit on.  Surprisingly, Chloe gets less messy at daycare when I pick her up than she does with me (I think she wears a smock all day... Wink wink).

My Tiny Wardrobe is here to clothe our bubs, inspire creativity, fuel imagination, hear from real mums through the blogs to come, resource our mums, and empower women to dream, and take action.

The majority of our products are made by mums, for mums, in Australia - with LOVE. Handmade. Local.

I am so excited to launch this blog on behalf of our team, and our Children's Clothing Line!

All my love,

Amy xx

Mums in the Spotlight: Tania Major

Posted on August 31, 2015 by Amy Goller | 0 comments

Cairns based Indigenous Youth Australian of the year, Tania Major, showed some love on Instagram with her little bubby David wearing My Tiny Wardrobe!  Jet setting nearly every day, this working mum is not afraid to take her little companion along.  Tania is an influential woman who acts as a voice for those affected by domestic violence asking the Prime Minister to help "lift the blanket of shame" off these issues.  We will be collaborating with Tania soon on an Indigenous Swimwear line for kids! Stay tuned!  Check out our Tiger Harem Pants and our Grey Jumper
